ONES: What happens to light when it passes through water?
One Yellow Rose
I worked for some time as a floral designer and became a big fan of Japanese design-spare, elegant and simplified. While "One Yellow Rose" is not an example of Ikebana, it is heading that way. The effect of water on light fascinates me; sparkles on a lake on a windy day, the view upward when you are underwater and reflections in rain puddles. What happens when light passes through a clear glass of water? I set some up in a light beam hitting the studio floor and...this is what happens! Sometimes. When the light angle changes or the glass shape changes, the reflection changes as well. Everything is connected. CONTACT ME at theroadupward@gmail. |

I found three leaves on the ground, all from the same tree, all different colors. I brought them home and eighteen hours later: voila! :)
